$313M Powerball drawing tonight: Winning numbers

Check those tickets. The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $313 million, with a cash option of $133.6 million, for the drawing on Monday, Sept. 21 after no one matched all six numbers on Saturday.

While the jackpot continues to grow, Saturday's drawing still produced a big winner. A player in New York matched five numbers to win $1 million. The last jackpot hit came Aug. 12, when an Illinois player won an estimated $1.04 billion, ending one of Powerball's biggest runs ever.

Here's what to know about Monday night's Powerball drawing, including the winning numbers once they're announced and when the jackpot will be up for grabs again.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 23, at approximately 10:59 p.m. ET.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, and can be watched live on Powerball's website. Highlights and replays are also available on the lottery's YouTube channel.

Powerball tickets cost $2 per play and are sold in 45 states, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Depending on local laws, players may also be able to purchase tickets online.
