Dart is expected to undergo surgery after damaging his meniscus, MCL and PCL, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The second-year quarterback sustained the injury in the first quarter of the Giants’ 28-6 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday. Dart was attempting a pass on third-and-8 when he was sandwiched between multiple defenders, and a Rams linebacker collided with his left knee.

In 14 games and 12 starts, Dart completed 63.7% of his passes for 2,272 yards during his rookie season, throwing 15 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also ran for 487 yards and nine scores.
