Two beloved New England-based brands have teamed up right in time for fall and National Coffee Day.

Dunkin' and L.L. Bean have collaborated for the first time, launching a line of merch and freebie offerings culminating in a free coffee giveaway on Tuesday, Sept. 29.

\n\n

The companies kicked off their promotion of the collab with a Dunkin' and L.L. Bean coffee koozie giveaway on Sept. 22. Shaped like a mini sweater, the koozies quickly ran out at participating Dunkin' locations nationwide, much to the internet's disappointment.

\n\n

But while it's unclear whether Dunkin' and L.L. Bean will be bringing back the sweater koozie, the brands' merch line, launching Sept. 29, includes a new coffee accessory, plus a special human-size sweater and Boat and Tote bag.

\n\n

"From morning coffee runs to weekends outside, Dunkin' and L.L.Bean have been part of many of the same routines and traditions for decades. Bringing them together just felt right," Jill Nelson, chief marketing officer at Dunkin', said in a statement.

\n\n
