October Prime Day (a.k.a. Prime Big Deal Days) is only three days away: The Prime member-exclusive sale runs from October 6 to 7, but you don’t need to wait until then to shop. Amazon is already dropping prices on products across categories, some of which are at their lowest price ever. We don’t know how long these early October Prime Day deals will last — popular products often sell out before the sale starts, so if something catches your eye, add it to your cart soon.

I’ve covered October Prime Day for years, so I know how to find deals that are actually worth buying. To prepare for Amazon’s mega sale, I combed through countless discounts to find the very best ones: Each early October Prime Day deal I recommend below is highly rated, as well as at its lowest price in at least three months, with discounts up to 80 percent off. I’m updating this article live with editor-approved picks, so save the link and check back in often to see what’s new.
