Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson did not start the second half of Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans because of an ankle injury.
\n\nJackson was on the sideline without a helmet during the Ravens’ first possession of the third quarter, with Baltimore holding a 24-7 lead at the time. The team announced that he was questionable to return.
\n\nJackson was off to a hot start before leaving. He completed 15 of 20 passes for 222 yards and two touchdowns in the first half. He also carried the ball twice for 20 yards.
\n\nHe was tackled on the second-to-last play of the half and appeared to be favoring his ankle after going to the sideline. He was replaced by backup Tyler Huntley to start the third quarter.
\n\nInjuries have been an issue at times for Jackson, a two-time MVP. He missed four games last year, and the Ravens went only 2-2 in his absence. Baltimore finished the 2025 season 8-9 and missed the playoffs.
\n\nIn 2021, Jackson missed five games, and the Ravens went 1-4 without him, missing the playoffs. The following season, he again missed five games and didn’t play in Baltimore’s first-round playoff loss.
