Simone Biles’ husband Jonathan Owens makes new NFL roster. What to know.

Simone Biles' husband has a new NFL team, which means the Olympic gymnast will soon be strolling stadium sidelines in a new city.

On Sunday, Aug. 30, the Indianapolis Colts unveiled their 53-man roster and included safety Jonathan Owens, who has been married to Biles since 2023.

Owens, 31, is entering his ninth NFL season. He played the last two seasons with the Chicago Bears and before that played for the Green Bay Packers, Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals.

Owens and Biles met on the exclusive dating app Raya in 2020, got engaged in 2022 and were married in 2023. On a podcast in late 2023, Owens said that when Biles first messaged him, he didn't know who she was because he didn't have access to watch the Olympics on TV.

"When she won the Olympics, I was in college and we didn’t have NBC. We didn’t have the Olympics channels and were in training camp," Owens said on 'The Pivot.'
