Lori Loughlin files for divorce from Mossimo Giannulli after nearly 30 years

Actor Lori Loughlin has filed for divorce from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, after almost 30 years of marriage, court documents show.

The filing last week by the “Full House” star comes about a year after the couple separated, with the separation date on the documents listed as Aug. 31, 2025.

Court documents show the reason for divorce is “irreconcilable differences” and indicate the couple has a prenuptial agreement. Details of the prenup were not available.

Loughlin and Giannulli married in 1997. They share two children — Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli.

Their marriage came under intense public scrutiny in recent years due to their joint involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal.

The scam, investigated by the FBI under the code name “Varsity Blues,” focused on getting students admitted to elite universities as recruited athletes, regardless of their athletic abilities, and helping potential students cheat on their college exams.

Loughlin and Giannulli admitted to paying $500,000 to the scheme’s ringleaders, Rick Singer and Key Worldwide Foundation, to falsely designate their daughters as recruits to the University of Southern California crew team, even though neither girl was a rower.
