Growing up Muslim in a post-9/11 America

Welcome to the daily Inside Scoop newsletter. We’ve got a special edition of the “Here’s the Scoop” podcast out today. A man who lost his father on 9/11 discusses trauma and addiction, a Slate journalist shares his story of the Muslim American experience and an educator talks with me about teaching 9/11 to young people with no firsthand memory of the day. I urge you to listen. Now on to the newsletter on this somber anniversary. Let’s get into it.
