2026 Presidents Cup standings, scores, results: International team maintains lead over U.S. after Day 3

The United States came into Saturday's double session at the 2026 Presidents Cup in unfamiliar territory, trailing the International team 7-3.

In both sessions on Saturday, the Americans jumped out to leads in all four matches on the front nine, but the Internationals steadily clawed their way back in to maintain an advantage heading into Sunday's singles competition at 10.5 to 7.5.

In the morning four-ball session, it was Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim who led the charge in rallying the International troops back into action, beating Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa to secure a much-needed full point. Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im were able to come back to tie their match with Justin Thomas and Jackson Koivun to get a half-point and keep the International side three points clear despite dropping two matches.

In the afternoon foursomes session, the Americans improved after getting swept on Friday in the same format, but again needed something spectacular. They could only come up with 2 points after a pair of massive comebacks on the International side.

Brandt Snedeker made a surprising decision to bench world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and get him some rest before singles, banking on his guys…
