\n\nEight people, including two children, were killed Friday in a mass shooting in a residential area of Erie, Pennsylvania, authorities said. The suspected gunman is also dead.
\n\nErie police said the victims included a 1-year-old girl, a 5-year-old boy, four women — one of them pregnant — and two young men. The suspected shooter was related to seven of the eight victims, police said. No names have been released.
\n\nPolice were called to Perry Street at around 5 p.m. Friday after witnesses reported seeing a man firing a gun before he entered a home.
\n\nOfficials said two women were found dead in the street, and more victims were found dead inside the home. Police said that the suspect was found dead with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
\n\n"Eight of those victims were related to each other," Erie Police Chief Richard Lorah said in a news conference Saturday afternoon. "I think it's too soon to talk about motive, but obviously everyone is family who is there and one family friend."
