Pumpkin spice season is officially heating up, and one rare breakfast item is making a long-awaited return to store shelves.

A beloved pumpkin spice bagel is back after a seven-year hiatus, and shoppers can find it in stores now for a limited time.

Dave’s Killer Bread (DKB) has announced the comeback of its Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels, marking the first time the seasonal favorite has been available in seven years.

Available now at participating retailers nationwide for a limited time, the bagels combine classic fall flavors with the nutrition-focused features that have helped make Dave’s Killer Bread one of the most recognizable names in the bakery aisle.

For shoppers already filling their carts with pumpkin spice-flavored coffee, muffins and snacks, this nostalgic return could be one of the most exciting grocery finds of the season.

Made with organic whole grains and flavored with brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg, these limited-edition bagels deliver pumpkin spice-inspired taste plus 10 grams of protein and 4 grams of fiber per serving.

Available nationwide through November while supplies last. Shop now while you can

“Dave’s Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels are making a highly anticipated comeback to our bagel lineup,” Cristina Watson, senior director of brand management for Dave’s Killer Bread, said in a release. “BreadHeads have been clamoring for the return of this organic, iconic favorite.”

What makes these bagels different?

Many seasonal bakery products lean heavily on flavor but offer little nutritional value. Dave’s Killer Bread is offering Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels as a way for shoppers to enjoy a pumpkin spice treat without completely sacrificing their nutrition goals.

Each bagel contains:

  • 10 grams of protein
  • 4 grams of fiber
  • Organic whole grains
  • Non-GMO ingredients
  • Brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg flavors

That combination may appeal to shoppers looking for a more satisfying breakfast or snack option compared with traditional pastries.

Bagels continue to be a breakfast favorite

Brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg give Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels their signature seasonal flavor.

The brand also shared new consumer research highlighting the enduring popularity of bagels.

Among 2,000 Americans surveyed earlier this year:

  • One-third ranked bagels among their top breakfast foods.
  • Bagels outperformed oatmeal, muffins and crepes.
  • 54% said taste is more important than nutrition when choosing a bagel.
  • 63% said bagels are a year-round food.

That last statistic helps explain why the seasonal release creates so much excitement. Even though shoppers enjoy bagels throughout the year, limited-time flavors help create a sense of urgency and novelty that many grocery brands capitalize on during peak seasonal shopping periods.

Where to buy Dave’s Killer Bread Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels

Toasted and topped with cream cheese, Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels offer an easy fall breakfast option.

The limited-edition bagels are available now at participating grocery retailers nationwide and will remain in stores through November, while supplies last.

Pricing starts at approximately $6.49 for a five-count package, though prices may vary by retailer and location.

In addition to bringing back Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels, Dave’s Killer Bread recently introduced Mini Bagels in two flavors:

Shopping Tip: Limited-edition grocery items often sell out faster than standard products as the season progresses. If Pumpkin Spice Madness Bagels are on your must-try list, consider picking up an extra pack and freezing it for later in the season.
