There's a fancy new way to fly on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines.
\n\nThe sister airlines are introducing new premium suites and a new premium economy cabin as part of what their parent company is calling its "most significant investment in premium travel."
\n\n"We believe premium is more than a seat. It’s how guests feel from the moment they book their trip to the moment they arrive at the airport to when they’re in the air with us," Alaska Air Group CEO Ben Minicucci said in a news release.
\n\nNew Aurora suites on Alaska Airlines and Leihōkū suites on Hawaiian Airlines will feature:
\n\nMeanwhile, new Premium Reserve (premium economy) cabins on both airlines will offer:
\n\nBoth suites classes and Premium Reserve will begin rolling out in 2028.
\n\nThey're expected to be available for purchase starting Summer 2027, though exact timing has not been shared.
