Domino’s is giving you free pizza if you eat somewhere else

Domino's is seeking a fresh slice of the fast food industry pie with a newly announced free pizza giveaway.

The pizza chain is giving away up to $1 million worth of free pizzas in honor of the launch of its new domino-shaped pizza.

But it comes with a twist: The freebies are only available for customers who eat at other fast food spots first.

The brand is inviting customers to try the new Detroit-style personal pizza, which is shaped like a domino, for free in an effort to see how it compares to other iconic fast food items, according to a news release.

"We think it has what it takes to become an iconic menu item, and we want customers to try and decide for themselves," Kate Trumbull, Domino's executive vice president and chief marketing officer, said in a statement.
