Exploding drone incident at German airport housing Ukrainian planes highlights ‘new threat’

A foiled exploding drone attack this week at an airport in eastern Germany that houses Ukrainian cargo planes underlines a “new quality of danger” from low-cost drones that may prove difficult to counter, top officials have said.
