Fox News reveals Maria Bartiromo’s interim replacement after abrupt exit

Following Maria Bartiromo's abrupt exit, Fox News has revealed who will temporarily take over her Sunday morning slot.

Larry Kudlow will temporarily host the "Sunday Morning Futures" show starting Sept. 27 and continuing through Nov. 8, the weekend after the Nov. 3 midterm elections, Fox News announced announced Sept. 25. A permanent host will be named at a later date.

The Fox Business Network journalist will kick off his interim run on "Sunday Morning Futures" with an interview with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent airing Sept. 27, according to the network. Kudlow joined the Fox Business Network in 2021 and hosts the market-close program "Kudlow."

"Throughout his tenure with the network, he has interviewed key politicians, business leaders and administration officials including President Donald Trump, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Elon Musk, House Speaker Mike Johnson, among others," the network said in an announcement. "He has also provided economic and political commentary across FOX News Media platforms."

Kudlow is taking over the spot previously hosted by Bartiromo, whom Fox News Media announced on Sept. 3 it had parted ways after more than 12 years.

Kudlow is an economic analyst and TV host who joined Fox Business Network in 2021.
