How college basketball fans can turn Battle 4 Atlantis into a vacation

For college basketball fans looking to turn tournament week into a vacation, Battle 4 Atlantis returns to Atlantis Paradise Island in November with top men's and women's programs competing in The Bahamas. According to a community announcement, the event combines early-season college basketball with the beaches, attractions and resort experiences available throughout Atlantis Paradise Island.

Now celebrating its 15th year, Battle 4 Atlantis gives fans an opportunity to follow their favorite teams while enjoying a Caribbean getaway during Thanksgiving week.

The women's showcase will take place Nov. 24-26 and feature Davidson, Florida, Notre Dame and West Virginia.

The men's tournament follows Nov. 25-27 with Marquette, Memphis, Mississippi State, Penn State, Texas A&M, Virginia, Wake Forest and Xavier competing at the Imperial Arena.

Unlike many early-season tournaments, Battle 4 Atlantis is designed as both a sports event and travel experience. Fans can spend mornings at the beach, afternoons exploring the resort and evenings watching college basketball, according to the announcement.

For alumni, families and friend groups, the tournament offers a reason to plan a holiday getaway around a shared passion for college basketball.

The event brings together fan bases from across the country in a destination setting that extends beyond game…
