Little League World Series live updates today: Aug. 21 scores, schedule
After one flawless day weather-wise, Day 2 of the Little League World Series didn’t quite go as planned. Little League gave several weather updates and pushed back the start times of the games before ultimately deciding to move all games to Friday, Aug. 21.
The inclement weather also forced Little League to adjust the schedule as well. Here’s the latest information on the expected games for today.There is nothing little about the slate, which will include eight games starting at 9 a.m., with both Australia vs. Mexico and Great Lakes vs. Mountain. USA TODAY Sports will provide game-by-game coverage on Friday, Aug. 21 and will give updates on any potential weather delays in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

How to watch 2026 Little League World Series
Here is the full Little League World Series schedule for Aug. 21. According to Little League, ESPN will not broadcast Games 5 and 6. It is yet to be determined which network will carry the rest of the day’s games.

South Korea had a run taken away after a long review in the top of the fourth inning. They still hold onto a 1-0 lead.
Pennsylvania vs. New Jersey Final Box
Mason Rincon hit his second home run of the tournament and Chase Klimkowski held Pennsylvania to a run on six hits and struck out six as New Jersey won 3-1 over the team from Pennsylvania.
The team from Bayonne, N.J. improves to 2-0 and advances to face Iowa on Sunday.

Hyun Been Han lined into fielder’s choice, scoring Jae Hyun Maeng to give South Korea a 2-0 lead through the top of the fourth inning. .

Pennsylvania gets on the board. Dillon DiGiulio scored on an error by New Jersey shortstop Gabe Garcia. DiGiulio had led off with a double.

AJ Tapia doubles on a fly ball to left field. Jett Bridges tripped over the base turning at third and was unable to score. He scored a few minutes later on Cole Warner’s wild pitch. Joey Dwyer’s single brought in another run.

Nicaragua’s four-run top of the sixth (on zero hits, no less) was the determining factor in the 6-4 victory over Panama Aug. 21 in the Little League World Series. Panama made things interesting in the bottom of the sixth, loading the bases and scoring on a bases-loaded walk, but a passed ball that turned into the final out at the plate preserved one of the wildest final innings of baseball you’ll ever see.

After giving up four runs on zero hits in the top of the sixth, it’s time to see if Panama can rebound. Nicaragua holds a 6-3 lead, but a four-pitch walk to lead the inning gives Panama some life in this final frame.

Texas is within a run in after five, now trailing Washington 4-3 with one inning to go. Anders Paulson’s RBI-single scored Kasen Martinez before Washington reliever Paxton Hansen settled down to get three straight outs and preserve the Washington lead.
Latin America vs Panama: Panama strikes in the fourth
Panama is on top of Latin America, 3-2, after a big bottom of the fourth that included Jeickot Sanchez stealing home and Bryant Quintero tripling. Panama now has six hits to Latin America’s one.

Washington’s Winston Weaver (say that three times fast) hit his pitch limit in the bottom of the fifth after putting in four solid innings, allowing two earned runs on four hits and three walks, while striking out eight Texas batters. Picking up on the International bracket, Latin America is leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second after striking fast with two runs in the top of the first on a 2-RBI base hit from pitcher Kendry Arauz Roque, who’ll be happy to help his own cause.
Washington vs. Texas: Texas gets on the board
The youngsters from the Lone Star State got on the board in the bottom half of the first, working two singles, a stolen base, and a walk, plating the first run on a Merritt Cude single to left, scoring Kase Yarbrough.

Iowa’s Cooper Thissen struck out 15 and reliever Anthony J worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the sixth to secure a 1-0, no-hit victory over the West squad from California. Thissen accounted for the game’s only offense, hitting a solo home run in the bottom of the first.
Iowa moves on in the winner’s bracket, while California will move to an elimination game.
