The hair care brand (which makes some of our favorite products for natural hair) is expanding its Heat & Treat Collection with the launch of a new flat iron, and two new care and styling formulas. They’re all designed to help safely transition your curls to a smooth, glossy blowout, just in time for silk press season.
All three products, including the brand’s latest heat styling tool, launched Friday on the Pattern Beauty website, and will be available on Ulta.com on August 19 and in Ulta stores on August 23. This heat styling tool is designed specifically for the safe and smooth straightening of natural hair. It’s made with ceramic-coated plates that move at a rate of 12,000 vibrations per minute, which help to reduce pulling, tearing and snagging at your hair strands, according to the brand. The result is less tension and a smoother pass while straightening, and a silky, effortless result.
Pattern Beauty Detox Shampoo
Whenever I’m taking down my braids, a clarifying wash is a must to help break down and dissolve any buildup that’s gathered around my roots, which is why this new detox shampoo is so exciting. It has a gentle formula that thoroughly lifts buildup, dirt and bacteria from your hair and scalp without causing irritation, according to the brand. Unlike other detox shampoos that may dry out your hair, this one is designed to detoxify without stripping your strands of any essential moisture — ideal for anyone with a drier, more sensitive scalp (or strands).
Pattern Beauty Blow Out Primer
This cream is formulated to prep your hair before you apply hot tools by coating your strands to shield them from heat damage, according to the brand. It also doubles as a damp hair detangler and prevents humidity-induced frizz, so you can have a sleeker style for longer.
