See full list of recalled Taylor Farms dips, guacamoles

Updated Aug. 12, 2026, 3:31 p.m. ET

Guacamole and dips distributed by Taylor Farms are being pulled from shelves because of possible salmonella contamination.

The Aug. 9 recall stems from an outbreak of the food-borne illness tied to jalapeños, affecting products sold across 26 states at several grocery stores, including Walmart, Target and Trader Joe’s. As of Aug. 9, Taylor Farms said it is “not aware of any reported illnesses linked to its products containing jalapeños.”

Salmonella is an organism that can cause serious and fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Symptoms of what the CDC says is the “leading cause of foodborne illness” include fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain.

The recall comes after Taylor Farm’s shredded lettuce was connected to the ongoing cyclosporiasis outbreak, which has sickened tens of thousands across the country.

Here’s a breakdown of the recalled guac and dips and how to determine if your products may be impacted.
