Texas vs Ohio State football live updates: Start time, TV, predictions for Week 2 game

One of the most-anticipated games of the 2026 college football season is underway, with No. 3 Texas hosting No. 1 Ohio State in Austin, Texas.

Both teams look different from when the Buckeyes' defeated the Longhorns 14-7 in Week 1 of last season, especially at quarterback. Both Julian Sayin and Arch Manning have developed into two of the best signal callers in the sport, despite both struggling at times in the first game of the home-and-home series in Columbus, Ohio.

Both quarterbacks are also surrounded by two of the best supporting casts in college football. Manning and Texas added Auburn transfer Cam Coleman, one of the most-talented receivers nationally, while Sayin and Ohio State return Jeremiah Smith, who's viewed as a generational NFL draft prospect.

There is loads of NFL talent on the field, with College Football Playoff implications will also certainly be on the line.
