Falling for Southern charm could have deadly consequences.

“The Hunting Wives,” adapted from May Cobb’s 2021 novel of the same name, returns to Netflix this fall. The first season followed new Texas resident Sophie (Brittany Snow) as she is sucked into the drama-filled world of socialite Margo Banks (Malin Åkerman).

“There’s a lot of really incredible, wild new moments that are twists and turns that you would not believe,” Malin Akerman told USA TODAY at the 2026 Gotham Television Awards about Season 2. “Get ready.”

Brittany Snow, who plays Sophie, also described the next chapter as “wild” in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: “Every script is a new adventure. They said we couldn’t top last year and somehow I think we are doing it.”
