The Boston Logan International Airport is looking for new talent to voice overhead PSAs with an open audition.
\n\nThrough Oct. 4, Massachusetts residents may submit their best takes at an airport Public Service Announcement through an online audition portal. Following a round of judging and public voting, one resident will be selected to record PSAs that will be broadcast throughout the airport's terminals.
\n\nThe fresh PSAs will be heard by more than 43 million passengers who travel through the Boston Logan International Airport each year, according to Massachusetts Port Authority.
\n\nThe title of airport announcer can be a coveted position, and a handful of celebrities welcome passengers at some of the country's top airports. In 2019, the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) announced that late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel, former LA Dodgers player Justin Turner, renowned local chef Susan Feniger and former Los Angeles Philharmonic director Gustavo Dudamel would welcome guests, per LAX X posts.
