Pre-election surveys have gotten it wrong in two critical Democratic primaries in as many weeks, exposing the difficulties of polling intra-party contests.

When democratic socialist Francesca Hong lost the Democratic primary for governor in Wisconsin on Tuesday night by less than a percentage point, it was seen as an upset. And yet another major miss for pre-election primary polling this year.
